Adelaide Zoo Ghost Tour is a unique walking tour through a haunted metropolitan Zoo… after dark!
Adelaide Zoo Ghost Tour – join Haunted Horizons as we walk you through the sleeping animals at the Adelaide Zoo, recounting the paranormal experiences of our guests in this newly revised tour. During the 2-hour Ghost Tour, not only do we talk about the activity experienced, but who it could be and why. Could it be a long-deceased zoo director, a loving zoo keeper carrying on with his job long after passing or one due to one of the many tragic events that have occurred in the Torrens River and the area surrounding the zoo? With murder, accident and suicide, there are many to chose from but we will let you decide.
Not only do we get to wind our way through the darkened footpaths, but we also get to visit two areas out of bounds to the public during the day, one of them being the historic Minchin House.
Some of the experiences on the Adelaide Zoo Ghost Tour so far –
Footsteps heard upstairs in the Minchin House building, along with a whispered voice of a child when nobody is there!
Doors heard slamming shut in the Nocturnal House, but they were already closed!
A dark figure witnessed to be walking the grounds of the zoo and by keepers helping out.
The tour culminates in the Rotunda, where we carry out a small investigation (using our paranormal equipment).
